Anger Management Anger is a normal emotion. There are certainly plenty of things to be angry about in the modern world! When anger is managed appropriately, it can propel you to effective action, but when you lose control of anger, it can be destructive.

Therapy can help you harness your anger by allowing you to slow down and stay calm when faced with injustice or threats to your well-being. By maintaining control, you can take the energy anger provides and use it to fuel behaviors that will improve the situation and avoid those that will make the situation worse.

You will learn to observe your emotions, identify underlying thoughts that trigger anger, and determine how accurate your thoughts are. You’ll have the opportunity to practice communication strategies that allow you to express your feelings calmly and assert your rights without violating the rights of others.
